XP Antarctik

XP Antarctik was a 2014 expedition project which took place in unexplored regions of the Antarctica.

Six adventurers undertook this project to discover one of the last unexplored regions of the globe for a period of 45 days. The goals of the expedition were threefold: explore, inspire, document.

The six participants left the banks of Ushuaia on a sailboat, crossed the dangerous Drake passage before finally arriving in Antarctica. XP Antarctik was realised in partnership with UQAM (University of quebec in Montreal) as part of a research project on body adaptation to intense weather conditions. The adventure was documented in order to contribute to collective knowledge notably in the field of body adaptation to intense weather conditions.
